1.f3 is Barnes opening.
Not Gedult's opening.
Thomas Wilson Barnes beat Paul Morphy will 1.f3 and it's been called Barnes opening ever since.
Fix please 🤗

@very-rusty saidThe OP was probably in refernce (though not given) to a Tournament on "Gedults attack (which would be A45: Gedult attack 1. d4 Nf6 2. f3 d5 3. g4). In fact 365Chess.com lists 1. f3 as gedults attack, while the Encyclopaedia of Chess Openings (ECO9 has 1. f3 as Barnes Opening)

@patzering saidAs far as I know you can't fix Tournament titles after they have been given. And it is a minor Problem. If you really really want this to be fixed, sending Feedback is probably more efficient than Posting the "Tournaments" Forum.

Barnes beat Morphy as BLACK with 1. e4 f3 which is called Barnes' Defence.
Barnes beat Morphy a total of eight times in all.

Thanks.
1 .... f3 would have been a stretch !
Although, Morphy was known to offer "pawn and move".
1 .... f3 would have fit the bill.
